The Mom Cave: Mommy’s Timeout

A quiet corner to call your own.

Have you heard the term “mom cave” yet? It’s one of the hottest new trends in interior design. Like man caves, they’re designed for just one person in the family, but this time the sanctuary is for the woman of the house.

Now, some people would argue that the “whole house” is a mom cave and I have to admit, they have a good point. Women are typically the decorators and designers of the home. All-inclusive Design at Your Fingertips

Designing a fabulous new space is fun and exciting! Driving around the Dallas Metroplex and sitting in traffic to look at different flooring, countertop and fabric samples for your project is not. I know my clients are busy and time is valuable. That’s why I’ve recently relocated my studio from Richardson to a full-service design studio in Dallas that houses every product sample imaginable. Now, instead of having to make multiple appointments at a variety of locations, you can pick your finishes and fabrics all in one spot!

Located at 1801 Royal Lane, Suite 810, in Dallas, the new studio brings everything right to your fingertips. We’ll both save time and you’ll save money! Product lines include flooring, fabric, furniture, countertops, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures and hardware, just to name a few.

The studio also offers conference rooms for more design space, a kitchen for refreshments and a children’s playroom for when you need to bring the kids along and want to keep them happy. The playroom is even video monitored so you can keep an eye on them! I’m so excited to be able to offer this level of service to my clients. Here’s a few pictures of the new studio and just some of the product samples available. I’d love to show it to you in person soon.

The Capitol Christmas tree in Washington , D.C. , is decorated with 3,000 ornaments that are the handiwork of U.S. schoolchildren. Encircling evergreens in the ‘Pathway of Peace’ represent the 50 U.S. states.
