Barbara Gilbert / Principal Designer & Owner

Barbara is the founder of Barbara Gilbert Interiors and the creator of Design in a Binder^™ — custom DIY designs at a fraction of the cost.

A respected expert in her field, Barbara has contributed her design advice to television and radio programs such as Good Morning Texas, DFW Closeup, KSAX DFW Nonstop and House Talk Today. She has also served as a presenter for the 2011 Dallas Home and Garden Show and a judge of the 2011 and 2012 Habitat for Humanity Design Duels.

Amy Armstrong / Assistant Designer

Amy Armstrong, Allied ASID, is a graduate from The University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. After a successful start in the Interior Design business, she joined the Barbara Gilbert Interiors team to offer her skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up 3D, and overall design sense.

She has won ASID Legacy of Design awards, ASID Design Ovation awards, and been featured in Texas Home & Living as an up and coming designer in just the few years she has been in the field. With a passion for Interior Design, she especially enjoys designing custom furniture and accessories tailored to the client’s style and needs.

Julie Whitworth / Social Media Manager

Julie is an integral part of the team at Barbara Gilbert Interiors. With a master’s degree from Texas Tech University and a skilled eye for design, Julie oversees marketing and social media for the firm. She also coordinates client service activities and provides design support for Barbara’s projects.

Stephanie Haney / Project Manager

Stephanie has over 10 years of experience in the trade show industry with a strong specialization in show management, project management and exhibit sales. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University, she has traveled around the country as well as internationally working on shows in the technology, medical and education industries.
